I visited my favorite pages about japanese anime, manga and games, e.g. Sankaku Complex, for the first time via my mobile phone web browser, and, unfortunately, I was unpleasantly surprised by the unfamiliar and unfriendly look of it. That is how I came to a question: Is it possible to make Sancom more compatible with mobile phone browsers? Is there anybody else who wants it too?

No issue with my Nokia phone.
The only funny thing is the search box is piled up with forums button.
So I need to type http://www.sankakucomplex.com/forums to access it.What kind of problem do you have?

Why do you wanna vist sancon on a mobile phone (eg, when your outside of your home) I'm pretty sure some of the things on this site probably could get you arrested somewhere, and I'd rather not everyone see all those gay porn ads, not that i have a problem with them. Just I don't need everyone seeing naked men on ma phone.
Already had a huge issue with naked women on ma phone :\

Sometimes I got bored waiting for bus or something. So I use my phone to check the news on the main page and sometimes visit the funny forum like "Corrupt a wish".
I skip galeries since it will waste my phone bandwidth.

The thing that fucks me up is that i dont have the /search/ button next to the input search line, thus i cannot confirm the search. That became a big obstacle since i was looking for some older galleries and news. Also a button to skip to the end of page/last page would be extremely useful. The time taken until i skip all ads and comments is horrendously long. And also some other details.

P.s.: for faster access to the forums you may select the /channel/ link next to the rss feed button on top of the page. Then choose the /forums/ link and it is done. At least for me it works, i dunno how it is with nokia or symbian. (ive got samsung)

Ah, also a /reply/ button would be awesome! btw, i dont care about money, i pay a fee of 2$ per 7 days of unlimited surfing. its just the time that counts O_o

I'm not sure this entirely counts, but I'm using my Droid right now and everything looks exactly as it would on my computer.

no, unfortunately it doesnt count. android uses the same browser as pc does. im using opera mini 4.2 for mobile phones. sometimes it doesnt display the web pages correctly, like in this case. thats because of uncompability between xhtml and mhtml. android/symbian phone browsers work with xhtml.

I don't know why it would be so different, but the Opera DSi browser displays the site perfectly. The forums' encoding also conveniently resizes the width of messages to the resolution of the screen.

Got Samsung Marvel s5560, it's a cheap mid-end phone and one of the newer phones i think. Had to upgrade my cheap $50 android china phone xD

Gay porn ads?? Thr only ads that I can see here are hentai doujins and VN's. So it does vary from region to region, eh?
I agree, if someone can make this site mobile friendly or for iDevices, an app, I will be a happy camper.
