Well, it would depend who caught me. But I would generally respond "Here is Mr. First Amendment, backed up by his buddy Mr. Second Amendment."
As recent articles have shown, just keep this stuff to yourselves and you'll be good.

I'd be sarcastic and continually repeat how horrible I feel for persecuting those imaginary children. I'd also talk about how pleased I am that law enforcement is doing their duty well by coming after artists and collectors instead of catching actual rapists and child prostitution rings.

I'm from the UK, so basically I wouldn't get time to respond. The bailey would be at my house so quick with an arrest warrant saying that I’m a threat to society, I wouldn't have the time to say "innocent until proven guilty" before they start beating me with their ASPs.
Meanwhile elsewhere an actual child molester will be denied a jail sentence as there isn't enough space in the prisons...

I'd Finish up my festivities and then proceed to kick out uninvited stranger.
If i suspect to be attended by the authorities, I make sure My computer is fragged like a mutha.
Prepare some magnets, so that the second f.b.i is knocking at my door with a warrant, that computer will be fried.
no evidence, no case along with repeating "i have no idea what you're talking about" or "i plead the 5th"When the case is dismissed, i sue the fucker for defamation (breaking into my house, accusing me of a heinous crime, and tarnishing my public image)+(long court battle) which eventually i win or settle out of court and buy a new computer.

depends who found out and how. Also depends where you are located?
I don't have any, but I would advise the magnet on the hard drive as the best course of action.
And if the police have a warrant to search your place in the U.S, good luck suing them over anything, they may not be able to prosecute you cause of lack of evidence (since you destroyed it with the magnet) but with the warrant they had already recieved enough evidence on you to make it permissible to find enough to have an effective case. so the defamation suit won't work unless the warrant was made by less the legal means.
and if you are on a school network downloading this stuff....that is public and can be searched without a warrant.....
I have personal experience with stuff like this since i was arrested for "illegally downloading and sharing" music while i was at university. the best thing i could have done, was fry my comp before they confiscated it, but had no time. Without the comp, they still had data logs, which would have been questionable if they wanted to confiscate.....ut shit them having the hard drive was a problem

I hope you guys have some pretty powerful magnets considering that nearly all (if not all) HDDs these days have at least some basic magnet protection.
IIRC the read write head is moved by magnets lol.

Well, if someone I knew discovered it, I'll have to knock him out cold and then plan a secure way to escape and then clear all my trail until the situation was more calmed, then I shall return and take him out of the picture. Here is quite easy to get rid of a body since I live by the desert, and in much cases that the police have found bodies, they never can guess who was the killer.....(evil laugh!)
Then if someone I didn't know found out about it then I shall invite him to join me if it was a man, if not I shall take option one, but first I had to do some research on the witness to plan a good way to erase that nuisance.
I am a little ignorant myself, can anyone tell me what a shotacon is?
