What gets you is when you put content on your computer.but yea surfing REALLY "hot" sites, just gets you monitored, when you download shit, u better have a panic button (or a magnet and a furnace....and a death star) :P

Actually, its possible to record all traffic from the ISP to the client, and technically, any image or website you view is saved onto your computer in the cache anyway....
In England its a legal requirement that an ISP be able to do this, although they never actually record anything unless asked to, just because the sheer amount of data.
But they can get you on what you have viewed, regardless, unless you can prove it that you got hit by a malicious redirect or something like that they can get you for anything they want.

I don't exactly trust our laws up here, they don't exactly care what we think, they proved that when passing the HST with FIERCE resistance against it. I wonder how long it will take till we become as big a police state as the UK.
