even in the reddest state thats not even suspicion.
What gets you is when you put content on your computer.
but yea surfing REALLY "hot" sites, just gets you monitored, when you download shit, u better have a panic button (or a magnet and a furnace....and a death star) :P

Believe me when i says this, if the law changes here, the giant magnet is the first thing i get with my pay check :P

Actually, its possible to record all traffic from the ISP to the client, and technically, any image or website you view is saved onto your computer in the cache anyway....
In England its a legal requirement that an ISP be able to do this, although they never actually record anything unless asked to, just because the sheer amount of data.
But they can get you on what you have viewed, regardless, unless you can prove it that you got hit by a malicious redirect or something like that they can get you for anything they want.

It cat be helped though, my father was the guy who designed the network used to do this at the ISP he works for, so I know quite a lot about it.
I asked him.... In detail.
fortunately in the u.s they can't do that.
hooray for private enterprise :)
and unless you're part of a criminal network
the cost of monitoring and hassle of a continual subpeona doesn't really work out.
anyone can delete their cache.
but when u delete something from your hard drive.
the image is still there..until a magnet comes and says "what?"
but like i said in the u.s you cant prove that i saw it.
hard evidence is hard.

hehe I use an ultra fast SSD for storage drive and a laptop that you can easily swap storage drive in just 20 seconds. Wanna destroy it? Just use microwave oven.
Too bad i can't store more shit in it.
OS and essential programs (MS office, Peach Tree, etc) hogs 90% of space
I wonder how long it'll be until they drop this bull shit and move on to the next stupid thing to have witch hunts over?
That's really what this amounts to lazy politicians having a witch hunt to make it look like they are actually doing something or to distract people away from their own crimes which often are real crimes.
Here's a good example of real crime in action by a company pushing real-ID.

99% chance it was BS. Canadian ISP's are very protective of their customers privacy. Privacy laws are insanely protective up here.
Drawing now leads to jail time? Who's the victim???

I don't exactly trust our laws up here, they don't exactly care what we think, they proved that when passing the HST with FIERCE resistance against it. I wonder how long it will take till we become as big a police state as the UK.
Don't worry schrobby, in 100-200 years we will either kill ourselves with some stupid war, starve ourselves out due to countries overpopulating (primarily India among others), or the first alien species that reveal themselves publicly to us will kill us because our dumbass species will shoot first and ask questions later.
I wonder if I draw a stick man masturbating and label the figure a little girl, will it counted as a crime? Or does it only apply to good drawings? lol..

Most likely anything that has any sexual situations in it. So yeah i'll go ahead and say that your stick figures would get you imprisonated. Pretty fucking sad when you get jailed for something like this. I wonder if i could get away with it by buying a boat and living in international waters with a net connection.
