Hmm...
Interesting.
Tl;dr -- I'd ride it out.
I'd find the nearest weapon, much like nin would. I'd definitely hunt for a gun first. Pawn shop, gun shop, police station, military installation, whatever. As long as it has a gun and stockpiles of bullets, then I'm there. Granted, most of it'll be gone by the time I finally get there, but I'll still scavenge for what I can.
(Judging by your scenario, I'd assume other people knew ahead of time. The smart ones would've grabbed the guns and tried to fight the zombie hordes off themselves. At the very least, they'd have stockpiled on bullets for themselves.)
From there, I'd make regular supply runs. Avoid carrying too much at one time or it's instant game over if ambushed/caught by surprise. (I'd go for whatever canned stuff remains since it'd probably last the longest.)
Along the way during whatever supply runs I'm on, I'd also look around for survivors. Immediate family and close friends first. Work my way down the list until I'm absolutely sure that everyone I knew was dead/zombie-fied.
After that, it'd just be a day to day type thing.
Wake up, eat breakfast, shoot a few zombies for fun, check defenses, make supply runs if needed, look for any survivors (strangers or not), entertain myself by sniping a few zombies from the roof of the building (provided I've found a sniper's rifle by this point), watch some anime, read some manga, play a few visual novels here and there, play my ps3 endlessly, and above all else, continue to browse SC on a near-constant basis in the hopes of finding all you other 'tards and joining forces. Somewhere in there, I'd also throw in eating lunch, dinner, and sleeping. If my place should ever be compromised, so be it. I'll just move in to my neighbor's place. And their neighbor's. And their neighbors. So on, and so forth. Not like they need their places anymore anyway. Not when they're a mindless, brain-eating zombie.
The only hard part would be getting to a point where I'd have enough food and amunnition to be able to have a routine like that.
The good part in all of this is still having internet. If I didn't have that much, I'd likely go crazy. With internet and the endless amount of stuff on it that could keep me busy, I could atleast ride out the zombie invasion until all the food expires and/or runs out.
