Game Informer claims that the new Monster Hunter Frontier Online debuted in Japan, is the cause of sales of the Xbox 360 jumped eightfold compared to the previous week.

I heard this Monster Hunter has a $15 a month subscription fee. Yikes.

It just came out in Japan If it sells well lets hope it will come to the states.I would pay to play that game.
It's not just because of Monster Hunter. The 360 slim was also released in Japan that same week. About 15,000 of the 360 consoles sold that week were slims, according to MS Japan. On top of that, the older 360 consoles had a ~$50 price drop. The sales aren't that impressive, all things considered. But it might be a supply issue.

It's a port of the Monster Hunter game available on PC, which also has a $15/month subscription fee. The differences here are that the 360 port includes all of the expansion packs released up to this point and comes with 12 months of XBL Gold as an extra. Unfortunately, the PC and 360 versions are running on separate servers.
PC version >_>, is it available in Europe?
My xbox has RROD, and I still need 2 fix it, but too lazy for ordering the repair packs.. I kinda like the 360slim, but I don't trust microsofts consoles after all the problems I've had with them over the years.
And yes I would also pay to play it.
Tho I still got the Wii version here, but the Wii is just not my console.. I played it dead the first week, but haven't had the need to touch it the last month.

Considering Xbox 360 may not be the best game system in Japan, Nintendo market is the casual gamers so far their best selling game Is Mario Galaxy 2.
As for Monster Hunter online it comes with a Keyboard and mouse.
