Hatsune Miku FAR too thin?

  1. Is it just me or Miku just look too unrealistically thin in Project Diva Dreamy Theater? I first noticed it during the Miku's Day concert but the screenshots from the game were far more obvious.

Her arms and legs looked like they would snapped if someone just apply a little pressure! Her entire frame looked severely malnourished and a gust of wind could just blow her away

  2. The model seems to fit our Asian taste.

And BTW, most of our girls here think that weaker is cuter, it's quite pathetic, but it's the reality. Like for example, my classmates who could not even shoot a basketball even on the nearest spot to the basket... they think it's cute... They also hate hard or obvious muscles... Don't ask me why...

  3. Asians are not that malnourished...and I'm not too sure people like stick-figures as their 2/3 D girlfriends as well...

  4. Thank you family guy.

  5. You can only stretch a 13-year old so far to make the final character model look older...

Hence, there's bound to be a discrepancy.

I noticed it too. The thing is it's just the style. Girls in this kind of style often have unrealistic proportions and sizes. People often take offense to it though. I've heard of some cases in which real girls become anorexic because of the body image portrayed by girls in anime but I would have thought that people understood that most real girls will never be that shape. The only people that I know could fit this body image are female Kpop singers for they are just as skinny as Miku is in the game. Don't know if it's healthy though.

  8. I'm surprised at the lack of people calling Black Rock Shooter out on her anorexia.

I have a funny feeling that we're likely to see something like that fleshed out in an eventual anime convention in the US (or even in Japan) one of these days, albeit to a lesser degree.

If that ever happened, it would be epicly worse than Man-Faye.

    What's wrong with her hands?

Second. The girl on the right should have known better. She doesn't have the cleavage or the Caucasian features to pull off that cosplay.

yes, the length of her fingers as well. In some of the videos, her fingers all look freakishly long

also, is she a midget or something? Just look at the ratio of the candles/background objects vs her body in the video. Very very odd, either she's miniature-sized or they have giant candles placed around a mock sacrificial altar lookalike...

I mean, Miku's great! I'm mesmerized by ALL of her dancing videos from dreamy theater but you tend to notice stuff like these after some time.
