  3. Wow, Artefact derailed the thread.
    That new.
Well any ways, I've been so paranoid lately thinking web sites I go to everyday will be shutdown. Every time a web site has down time I think 'oh crap the feds got them'.

Can we form a consensus to ban anyone who says tl:dr? I find it to be a grotesque celebration of illiteracy and ignorance, and insulting to those who engage in detailed discussion.

    Yes

    ^ tl:dr

If you are not going to read why even bother posting? Your "personal opinion" (if we can call it that) is short of facts and add abso-FUCKING-lutely nothing worthwhile to an already weak topic.

As far as the manga aggregator sites goes, the guys at MangaHelpers stopped serving raw's and tl's since they are moving to a profit revenue called OpenManga. Don't get me started on the irony of the name, but even if this might sound a dick move to try to "get money" from something that "should be free" as I've previously seen some morons claiming, if they do it right and charge it right and talk to the right people, it does have potential to become a really nice place.

This is also an expected backlash from the current ongoing crusade against scanlation going on Japan, but since Manga Traders is back online in full power I am dubious about the efficiency of said war on US and abroad.

I am also pretty excited by the possibilities on Ipad/Ipod now that applications offering an easy way for manga-kas (at least the smaller ones for now) to directly feed content on that platform and have it readily available for a comfortable reading (reading magazines on the Ipad is awesome) are a reality.

But you see, all these are topics that would be much better served on a proper thread without such a stupid header (and with people that don't go brain dead with anything over 140 characters), but I am just saying...

  8. Supply and demand.

If it's wanted, someone will deliver.

They crushed my precious Newzbin in the courts. Guess what, someone hacked the code and put it back up again. The MPAA are totally pissed off :)
