North Korea is at it again! Now its pissing off China!

  1. Continuation from this thread

Btw Huey, if you see this, get your friend Glenn back please. Would like to get his opinions on stuff like these.

China accused North Korea border guards of shooting and killing three Chinese citizens and wounding one near the two countries' border last week.

The incident could strain relations between the isolated "hermit kingdom" and China, North Korea's strongest ally and aid donor, even as Beijing comes under pressure to take a stronger stance against Pyongyang for its role in the sinking of a South Korean warship on March 26 that killed 46 sailors.

Heard about it 2 days ago.

Most likely an individual action on the part of the soldier. Also, China probably doesn't give a damn, knowing how they treat people thanks to their over-inflated population. 3 guys aren't even worth a speck of dust to their government.

  3. I'd laugh if they stopped sending financial and food aid because of that, but I doubt it.

  4. Oh great! If there is a war I know Japan will be graded into it.

Your're right. And China had more things to worry about like their relationship with the US.

It seems more than likely since America would step in, which would force Japan to help due to two (or more that I'm not familiar with) treaties that Japan was pretty much suckered into accepting.

  7. Time for Japan to use their real gundams then.

  8. If Japan launched their real Gundams, we can forget about Brittania, 11's and tawdry old Knightmare Frames and prepare for the Earth Federation. Of Japan.

I would love to see the other half of the world ruled by Japs, really.

But let's not get off track. North Korean's army uniforms is nice. Love the jackboots.

Maybe their next leader can lead the north out of their nightmare.

Looks like the bullets are about to fly.

Actually, it maybe possible that South korea sank the ship themselves and accused the North koreans?

I'd say you're the one in "lala land" if you seriously thought we were wishing for real life Gundams in earnest.

South Korea must pussy out of the fight in order to survive the odds against them.

In this place some of us, just cant tell if your serious or playing, cause most time, you guys are really serious about these "made up gundam stuff".

  19. The concept of legs on a machine is so preposterous. You might as well make it fly if it has to get over tough terrain, you'd spend much less on energy/distance. And the wheel is perfect for non-rough terrain, why waste more energy than you have to?

  20. Hmmmm....I'd say things are heating up, rather than cooling off. If this incident does strain relations with China, then North Korea may feel that it is being painted into a corner. The "If we're going down, your going down with us!" scenario seems plausible. I can almost guarantee that North Korea won't sit back, watch it's entire infrastructure crumble, and do absolutely nothing about it.

South Korea has just finished reinstalling it's speaker system that was used to broadcast propaganda to the North. North Korea has warned that it will shoot the speakers if/when they a turned on. If the North fires into the South, it could cause an exchange of fire between the two nations that reignites the war.

Also, North Korea warned of severe consequences if the U.N. decides to debate the sinking of the Cheonan. What that means is open to debate.
