   People said they were gonna release it in 2008 but nothing happened...

   I saw leaked images of MHS2 from newtype this year or last year.

   wonder if they do, do a second season will the episodes be all Tarantino style out of order like the first? I thought it was cool but i don't know if it'll be the same if they keep doing it.

   i just wiki'd it and there's a little section on a new season. It doesn't really say when it would show but it just describes a viral marketing campaign that was set up so that should mean that there would be a second season.

   maybe they're just waiting to hype it up so more people would watch it. i usually get all my news on anime from sites like this so maybe Sankaku will do a little post on it *hint* *hint* haha. If all else fails google it as there's lots of people talking about it

   okay, just did some googling. It seems there is a confirmed second season but the release date is still up in the air.

   "KyoAni (Kyoto Animation) has a history of announcing their next big project/series after the end of their big current series/project. With Clannad ending in the next few weeks, expect the announcement of their new project for the spring season after the last episode airs. Why do I bring this up? They may very well choose to announce Haruhi season 2."- ripped that from Azure tears on yahooanswers<<thats not against forum rules or anything right O_o?

   About the Haruhi S2, that information is correct. A second season was announced, but no airtime was given, so we are all still waiting, and waiting...

   there's a lot of rumors about what haruhi's next hairstyle might be...i already saw some of them...not sure if theyre true though..but if i were to guess it would be a pony tail..oh wait twin tail...hmmmmm that would definitely give her that tsundere moe like quality but then again shes not a tsun so im going with the pony tail....damn that kyon ...

    Was the second season not announced months ago? Like, possibly even 2007? I'm so sick of waiting for it, by the time it's broadcast, I'm not even sure if I want to watch it...
    But I do want more Yuki. ^^;;

    I'm tempted to just go read the manga and see what happens...well i started with the anime so i guess i'll just wait. its almost spring and it won't be that long ~_~. When does Clannads run end?

    I've read that the new season would be based upon the light novels Disappearance story arc and a brief summary of it. didn't have any major spoilers i think just a basic plot outline..though i wish i hadn't read it

    sheesh...just do a 'Disappearance' movie/OVA first ala BSG:Razor, then move backward for Season 2

    IMO, Kyo-ani is too afraid to make a mistake on their crown jewel. Just look what happened to Gonzo...
