Art Styles

  1. So in your many years(?) of scavenging through the internet for nice H material, I'm sure you've come across a variety of styles.

Why don't we share examples with each other of the types of art styles we love in hentai material, and types of art styles that can totally kill the mood.

I'm not going to bother finding any examples because I don't keep all that much HCG on my computer.

    Things I don't like:

Impossibly large breasts, Eyes being rolled back, extended tongue during intercourse, futa, stomach stretching from large insertion which would actually kill a person.

    Things I DO like:

Reasonable proportions, some loli, somewhat normal situations.

  3. Clarity around the borders, shitloads of shading:

A really big turn-off is when they uncensor the previously censored images, and there's a noticable difference in quality for the private parts.

His works are very good, but from the way he's treated around here one would think he was the best artist in existence, which I don't feel shy in saying he's not.

Have you seen the earlier drawing fail galleries here?

Yes, and found them moderately amusing, hehe...

  8. I'm actually a pretty big fan of Satoshi Urushihara. I love artists who aren't afraid to draw pubes. And the big, innocent facial expressions combined with really nice nipples....ahhh, so good.

And he drew Kallen twice so he gets about 100 points.

    You mean untrimmed pubes.

  11. Why only hentai, why not anime, manga and doujins as well :P

Anyways theres no particular style i like as long as theres loli and no big fat guys that give nightmares to everyone :P

If i had to remember a style that sticks in my head, it would have to be the one used for Princess 69 Midnight gymnastics or w/e its called

I just remember the end when the dude rips off the girls pubic hair...that was hawt :D

    Go ahead
You're right, there's no real reason to keep it restricted to hentai

  16. Turn ons:
I'll echo atma's sentiment that Satoshi Urushihara is win. "Another Lady Innocent" is one of my favorites.

I'm not sure how to describe it, but I really like the art style used in Sora wo Kakeru Shoujo. Lots of bold colors, sharp contrasts, and crisp definition.

    Turn offs:
Eliptical eyes in general are eerie and wierd- eyes are supposed to have corners.

It feels wierd saying this- but overly fleshy women- this is mostly in when they are contrasted against a really skinny dude. Buxom women are great when they don't feel out of place in the final product.

X-Ray views where the uterus is being penetrated.

    I hate sweaty characters.

Especialy in manga, when the sweat becomes too thick, that you can't see whats going on.

  18. Speaking of Hayate no Gotoku, do you prefer the first or second season artwork?

I haven't been able to determine which style I like more, myself, they're both good...

    Woot another Hina fan =D

Speaking of Hina.... I used this as my wallpaper a while ago, from Ikegami Akane, really loved the art.

I also like gofu's art... though he mostly only do black&white sketches
Here's a sketch of Hitomi, from Minami-ke Okaeri

I also think they are both good, except it was somewhat odd seeing some of the hair colours of the some of the characters being different. But overall, I think the Season looks a bit better?
