Someone just linked me these guys lasnight and their music is really interesting and unique to anything I have ever heard before. Those things they are playing are the "ancient tsugaru-shamisen" according to their page. Check em out.

And as regards to why it might not be a good idea, is due to it looking suspiciously much like advertising :P which the mods really does not like.

You could've posted on the ongoing music thread though, mods here don't really enjoy stray threads with information that could've been simple posts in an already existent thread.

Quite true, advertising isn't allowed though what you posted doesn't seems like advertising at all so its all good. But next time please use the random video thread (can't link on wii).

That thread could really use a sticky. For new/irregular posters it is really easy to miss, especially when it falls of the first page.

Yes they could but it isn't as easy to do that as far as I know.
