One of the things I love about groups striving for equality is this defense. I'm bisexual and I crossdress. I go through all sorts of discrimination and have to hide who I am depending on the circumstances. I can seperate my emotional response from the logical truth of things though. Just because you feel discriminated against doesn't mean you can do whatever you want and demand repression of whoever you want without criticism. Be realistic.
Honestly: which is worse, RapeLay or the child sex rings and the world wide prostitution slave trade? Now ask yourself, WHY THE HELL a feminist organization would waste their time focused on a video game in a country with extrememly low rates of sex crimes. Yes, it's derogatory, but seriously, go find something that's doing actual harm before trying to strip freedom of speech. It just seems hypocritical and like it's motivated by some hidden agenda when you go about things in this much of an ass backwards order.

As a girl, I cannot understand where they're coming from at all. They're moralfags and you sure sound like one too. It's a fucking videya gaem, not real life or real rape. The fact this game exists doesn't bother me. I would probably never play it outside of 10 minutes as a curiosity and to laugh at it, but if someone wants to fap to it, by all means let them. Videya gaems do not lead to crimes; people like Jack Thompson are idiots who condemn them and blame them for the world's faults. Guess what? It's the fault of the damn fool who commits such crimes, not the media they owned. If they say it told them to do it, they're lying and trying to avoid the fact they made the conscious decision to do the crime. The good news is the world has some sense in it and people like Jack Thompson get disbarred and I laugh forever at his foolishness. His fellow lawyers hate him and you know what they say about lawyers! Har har.

But I share the same thoughts: Rapelay is a pretty terrible game, probably only pitiful people will play, but that shouldn't deny the makers the freedom to produce and distribute the game to whomever they please.

I'm so tired of all this even I'm ready to make sandwich jokes, but only in relation to people like Equality Now, who deserve it.
Japan has a problem with underage prostitution. If they're worried about Japan so much, they should start with that. Actually CP and child prostitution is a big problem in all of southeast Asia. Let's try to help people who actually need help rather than focusing on some fucking video game that nobody even likes. BTW, there's tons of eroge involving rape, and with these games, you can actually fap to it, so it seems like the eroge would be worse than rapelay which sucks.
