  5. I tried something called "suntory chocolate sparkling soda" I saw at the 7/11 the other day. You opened the bottle and it smelled like melting chocolate. The actual drink was so sweet I could barely feel any flavor in it.

I couldn't even finish half the bottle.

  11. When I think of Japanese candies and snacks, my mind naturally wanders to things like youkan, mochi and their traditional taffy that I don't know the name for. I don't like the stuff made by Glico, Morinaga and other companies. Their products usually are either too sweet or are a weird mix of flavors.

I do logo designs, shirt designs, websites etc. etc. for money I work with a friend with his shirt design company he pays me 50$ a design and a site design company with a another friend. and I enter design contest where prizes range from 2500$ to 5000$ on top of that I work at walmart part time and go to school. just a small sample of things I do, someone paid me 250$ to make it then a year later I found out he didn't go thru with his idea so I loved it so much I brought it back for half$ the background was a bitch to make, making it marble looking.

P.s tickets to japan are cheap when family members work at the airport :P
and my friends let me crash at their place so no hotels

Please don't advertise your site here. If you'd like to just discuss Japanese okashi, then you may do so.

    TL note: okashi means candy

Pocky's overdone. Ramune's alright but I wouldn't say it tastes that great. Of the little biscuits with chocolate creme inside, I like "hello panda" the most because I think they're cute. My favorite japanese snack is probably the gummi choco's.

Oh and there is no doubt that MINN is a pimp :p

You can by-pass and be protected with the No-Script extension, seeing that you're using Firefox.

Regrading about Japanese snacks, I've only had Pocky sticks and gummi fruits.. I don't see them being any different than the snacks that we have here in the US.

The two things I most enjoy are Hello Panda and Yan Yans. There isn't any in my small town so whenever I go to Toronto to visit family I buy a bunch of each.
