I was thinking sending an email with words to this effect, then when they inevitably troll me, I'm gona oppen the femdom furry on them.

I need to change it abit, since I'm being questioning but not really asking any questions.

    Dear Equality Now,

I know you are probably quite a smart buch of people, or at least some of you are, as I am also sure you are well aware of Japans child and domestic abuse statisitcs, and the recent drastic improvment in womans rights in Japan, even if they are still treated as a minority in the population.
Because of this, I do not feel the need to quote statistics that you already know, and are doubtlessly ignoring.

You are, after all, a political organisation of women, so I don't think I can say much to change you attitudes, but I would like to point out that the subculture that you are targeting, purposely or not, specificly being otakus, also encompas a large number of females, and non go without porn.
I would also like to ask why you are targeting the obvious, albiet nicé, 'sources' of descrimination against women, when it would be far more effective to target the less obvious sources of descrimination, which provide subliminal messages.
An example would be the film industy and the media, as I'm sure you have all read up on your Lura Mulvey?

I would appreciate a well written responce, not a sandard one please, as I may or maynot be willing to help your cause, based on your responce, whereas a automated responce will just piss me off.

    Thank you.
    A112.

  5. Actually it seems like in a lot of media that the otaku subculture consumes tends to depict men as being weak in some way (at least in what I've seen in American media), versus children and women.

The harem genre is classic in this regard.

Laura Mulvey talks specificly about Hollywood.

Maybe I need to make myself a little more clear.

She is excelent reading if you like reading the works of mad feminists.
Her theorys are not that stupid though, and make sense.
It's just the way she writes.

Don't use otaku in the letter. They likely won't know what one is.
Besides, I don't think they are targeting a type of otaku, except for gaming otaku. Consider mentioning "those interested in gaming" or "people who love raping as much as a peaceful morning sunrise" or something to that affect.

Even many cave drawings have been determined to be crude depictions of sexual acts. It really depends...
