What is it with all the hate about loli =/!

  1. I honlestly don't get it. It's not like the drawn girls gets mentally scarred by it. Why don't all those people that look down on loli actually work on protecting REAL girls instead of something someone drawn or animated..

And sorry if it's in the wrong section Dx (joined yesterday so I'm quite new here ^^.. Been a lurker for some time though)

Welcome to the forums lurker! XD I'll never understand why either, I mean every day a REAL loli that CAN and Is being mentally scarred, is suffering while they *PROTECT* virtual loli's that CAN'T be hurt.

And don't anyone try to feed me that bullshit that virtual loli hentai/images can influence people to become "REAL LIFE" Pedo's.

There are a hella of a lot of people here on sancon that like virtual loli's and collect pic's and hentai but look down on "REAL LIFE"Pedos.

Because they aren't doing it to protect real girls, they're doing it for the glory of saying that they protect real girls. They know that they'll never be able to stop real girls from being raped so they try to find an easier target that they have a chance of winning against. They make false claims that 2D causes real harm so that they can claim that they're actually protecting real girls and idiots will believe, support, and respect them.

A great explanation. Add the factor of being perceived as heroes for putting effort into protecting young girls, and the story is basically complete.

  15. Did no one here even consider the possibility that "loli", whether it victimizes anyone or not, is just a revolting thought?

Even if there are no children abused, it still represents the thought of abusing children.

Even if you shouldn't hate someone for finding appeal in "loli", you can absolutely still hate "loli" itself.

  16. Because of all the love for loli, theres gonna be the obvious internet backlash against loli.

Isn't that just a matter of opinion though? Just because some people are disgusted by loli doesn't mean that everyone is.

I am disgusted by sexual abuse of real lolis but I'm not disgusted by 2D loli sex because in my mind, fictional girls are completely different from real girls.

So? There's nothing wrong with having thoughts about lolis. It's people who act on those thoughts that are a problem.

Of course people can hate loli, it's a fetish and not everyone has the same fetishes. It's fine to hate a fetish as long as you don't try to criminalize other people who have that fetish.

  18. Drawings are nice because they can exaggerate features that might be improbable or inconvenient in real life...

Like large breasts? There's plenty of inhumanely large drawings for you.
Like big hips and narrow waists? There's plenty of stuff that puts all but the most extreme corsets to shame.
Like seeing girls fucked by large penises? Plenty of that too...

So why is it somehow evil if the fetish instead of one of those is "petit girl" or "girls with soft facial features" ?

    Thought crime, etc etc.

Quite right. It doesn't always represent the thought of abusing children though - just being attracted to them, or finding them cute. Even the notorious "legal CP" that used to be sold in Japan was often just modelling sessions, so they were pretty much like nudist books, showing things like a bunch of girls playing or having a picnic or some other innocuous thing. Were they being abused? Exploited probably - as much as any other model - but not exactly forced into sex or anything fucked up like that.
