So I was just told that 2ch is going nuts over this page of the recent K-on manga:

The claim is that Ritsu has a boyfriend, echoing the "used goods" Kannagi-gate '08.
If anyone can provide a translation for the rest of us, much obliged.
I think it should be something like
ritsu: "hey, just wait a second"
yui: "perhaps a boyfriend?"
mio: "ritsu with a boyfriend just isn't possible..."
ritsu: "..."
mio: "what? what's with that reaction!?"
yui: "she's gone"
mugi: "she really was able to get a boyfriend!"
I guess.

Why the surprise? It's pretty clear Ritsu, being the most "normal" among the band, would have a normal teenage social life offscreen (or offpanel, mangawise). If anything else, her attachment to the band (specifically to Mio) seems more like addons by the anime since they're not in the original 4koma.
And this is nothing like "Kannagigate". Not, if it was Mio or Azusa who somehow snags a male love interest, well...
(Though I was expecting YUI to hook up with someone first, considering how easygoing she is...)

Same here. I was kinda shocked at 2ch's reaction last time. And I found it strange that they took such an intolerant stance towards it. Quite unexpected.

Kannagi though, was an anime that was disjointed and then sudden screach halt ended over.
Yeah I enjoyed it, but it isn't a K-On.
