  1. Until recently I didn't pay much attention to who wrote my fapping material, but I lately started looking for things by the same authors who had stuck with me instead of just grazing randomly. Long story short, it turns out that many (most?) of my favorites are women. So now I am curious, does Sankaku like female ero-mangaka, or males? What differences do you see between the two? Or will you live up to your legend and fap to anything that moves?

  2. Gender makes no difference. As long as the content and art style suits whatever I like/need, it's fine.

Sure different genders can generate works with different feelings etc. but it's more the personality of the author than the gender.

Certainly there is nothing quite like seeing Sasakura Ayato's works with those cute, adorable lolis dressed up in maid-styled outfits rubbing their penises together.

  5. As long as the content is interesting to my eyes I have no preference.

  7. A mangaka's gender doesn't change how I view their work though I do think it's cool whenever I find out about a female h-mangaka, especially if I've read their work before or if their work is something that I would want to read.

  8. Can't really answer this as I can only think of one or two ero-mangaka that I know are female, namely Yuna Kagesaki and to a lesser extent Kaworu Watashiya.

Yuna Kagesaki is most well know for cutesy vampire Manga, Karin, and recently has been writing faptastic ecchi manga, Onii-chan Control. She's also done some straight up ero-manga, but its much older and and don't find the artwork as appealing. She's done a lot of illustrations for eroge, but I'm not familiar with any of that work.

Kaworu Watashiya is the author of Kodomo no Jikan... which I've never fapped to directly, but it has turned me on a couple times enough to go looking for additional hentai.

Is there some kind of database one could peruse to ascertain the gender of one's favorite ero-mangaka? Wikipedia tends to not have any info on specific artists unless they also have non-ero work.

  11. To answer that statement It's a resounding No

Sides even though I have favorite H-artist like Tony, Satoshi Urushihara etc. If their stuffs appealing to my taste gender don't mean squat.

  14. Well, this still begs the question, how does one go about ascertaining the gender of hentai artists? I don't see how this can even be answered if that's unknown. It's all well and good to say "author doesn't matter, only content" but it says something if the majority of ones preference lie with artists of a particular gender.

To list a few, I like
    Jingrock
    Fukudahda
    Bosshi
    Distance
    O.RI.
    Shinozaki Rei
    Kamirenjaku Sanpei
    Wanyanaguda
    Inuboshi
    LEE
    Juan Gotoh

I kind of assume that they're all male artists because they're obviously targeting a male demographic. I assume they're all pseudonyms, most of which don't even resemble actual names- and if they do most Japanese names are unisex so it wouldn't be very indicative. Mikami Cannon is another artist that I like, but that one actually makes me question the gender of the author, since it's drawn seinen style (as opposed to Josei artwork *shudder*), but feels like it's targeting females more.

  16. The gender of an H-manga author only matters to sexists, like feminists.

  17. I don't normally check out much manga hentai or otherwise. But ya know, when one gets my attention, I don't wonder to myself, is it ok to get a hard on looking at this? I mean, what if you know, the wrong gender did this stuff?
