    That's ancillary to what I've been trying to say, actually. I've been saying that his initial statement, along with the two analogies, show that he doesn't see pornography being a viable career option for women since it inherently degrades women. That would subsequently show that the way he answers the last question is by disagreement with its premise.

    When asked the later question, about how to improve the conditions of pornography, that "eliminating the degradation of women would improve it."
    If he was trying to disagree with the premise of the question he should have worded it a lot better, because that was as badly worded as his original statement that "pornography is the humiliation and degradation of women".

    I think if he wasn't trying to contradict his earlier statement, he would have worded it differently, because his later words imply that the conditions of pornography can be improved, which implies an existence of pornography.

    The wording goes against the idea that "it"'s very nature degrades women.
    It could be a lot like one of those statements such people often make like "Israel is an abomination" but are actually meaning the Israeli government is an abomination and that they support Palestine.
