  3. Wanted to share this with all the horror otakus here

Also going to post up pictures of this scary toilet I encountered in Turkey a few years back. It is filled with dolls (Chucky-like) and plays a song whenever you enter. No lights are in this toilet. Didn't take any videos though :(

Interesting. Though, I'm not that fond of seeing Horrific things.
I'm got weird out of some of the pictures. TT_TT

Anyways, I'll share a picture of which I can't even explain myself.
I see this as Art, but most of my friends see this as Horror. I don't know, but I want your opinion.

Well, I view Horror as a form of art. It is a medium used in film, art and literature to induce deep feelings in the audience by plunging them into the unknown. Like other common genres, it is often mixed up with other media, such as:

    Action and Drama - Blood+
Lesbian Yuri and Drama - Ga Rei Zero
Comedy - Stephen King's Rose Red

And on your picture...yes, I would categorize that as Horror. I mean, the Nazi-gas mask worn by the rider with the hose coming out of the horse's eye and not to mention the "goblin" legs.

PS: Horror is actually more prevalent and appealing than commonly thought. Just look at hot-selling news: wars, brutal crimes, loli-raep; that's real life horror, not fiction like Freddy Kruger.
It is not something that caters only to goth kids or that weirdo in the corner, contrary to popular belief.

I don't usually go for Popular Belief due to the fact that I'll stound out to the crowd. I'm basically learning each things step by step. Like what I'm doing right now for Horror.

It's not as impressive as you guys think.
I made it out of foam board and white-out pens to resemble a sandwich board.
I'm a horrible cosplayer, mostly because I have no sewing skills, no time to assemble nice costumes, and I don't really want to get caught up in the mess anyway.

I'll see if I have some pic available somewhere. I'd show you guys the video of opening ceremonies at my convention where I demonstrated how it opens, but I don't think we're ready for faces yet ever.

I still think it's worth showing.

  15. Let's just say i don't hide in a fucking closet
and blog everyday and every minute to hide from
normal people who may find me creepy.

Normal people around me know about my hobbies.

I'm oldschool, we didn't have 'blogs' in the 1990's
    you know.

  16. Well, looks liek I'm a jack-of-all-trades otaku:

  17. Anime
    Manga
    Seiyuu/Idol
    Gunji
    Eroge/Game
    Pasocon
  18. Apparently, I'm well grounded in both the 2D and 3D worlds. I may become a Figure/Dakimakura ota later.

    Seiyuu
    Figures
    Cosplay

I particularly have a lot of figures (no pics of the full collection, but here's some of my Nagato figures from a year ago). I've also had a few decent cosplay: Urahara Kisuke, Shadow, and Altair. Well, Altair kinda sucked, since I didn't finish making all the weapons on time. I really like my Urahara, though. I also had just finished a Stein cosplay, but it burned up, along with my car, last week on the way to A-kon. I have a picture of the prototype from Halloween, though. Really hated losing that one, took forever to do all the stitches. And the screw really turns, too.
