It's that time of thread again. You know, looking at Japan today with all it's goodness and how so far it became, It makes you wonder. What if this never happened? What if most Japanese were in the same set manner as they were before the end of WW2? It makes one wonder what was Japan like before it became the Japan we know today. A time when Japan took names and played no games. Was it bad? Was it the same? Was it even better? So we contend a vote and discussion between two Japans. The old Japan: representing the traditional way, where you worshiped the emperor, had samurai mentality, where Geisha girls flow (and no she wasn't a ho), And it was the pimp of Asia. Then there's The new Japan, representing the otaku way, where the emperor's just there for window dressing, have money mentality, where idols and anime girls are the new Geisha, and it was the pimp of Asia..... economically. So tell me SanCon, which Japan is the better Japan?
Old Japan: Empire of Japan, Land of the rising sun, the emperor is the essence and the samurai are the soul, Geishas, big army, and Fukoku Kyōhei banzai.
New Japan: State of Japan, Land of the rising wii, the emperor is only present, and the otakus are the soul, idols and 2-D, big money, and Pantsu Oppai banzai.
