its about the same, but Savanna is in Hurricain territory - which can muck up classes among other things.
the $1,000 scholarship doesn't even phase the rest of the cons in either case. Since everyone qualifiys for the a $1,000 pell grant you can get it anywhere.
Hadn't thought about the hurricane thing. :x
Wait, I screwed up; it is $5000 a year. Though somehow, it still works out that there's no significant difference in price between the schools.

I would say choose the college based on costs. Unless you have all of that covered already. Worrying about tuition is one of the greatest causes of stress for me.
Going to college in the city is really fun, but I guess you miss out on the standard college life of living on a set campus. Still, I would recommend city life, but that's a personal preference. A lot of people that go to my college, go there just because of it's location. The city is definitely a great influence on why I'm here.
Also, living in NYC is more expensive than living in other places.
Thankfully cost isn't much of an issue. Not that I'm fine spending all my parents' money, but they're willing to pay for a more expensive school if I'll get a better education.
Either way I wouldn't be getting the typical college experience; SCAD's campus weaves in and out of the entire city.
After I graduate, it's almost guaranteed I'll move to California. There's far less work than you'd think in New York.

Go to the one that'll get you more connected.
That's SVA's main selling point.
