   Hm, Interesting anime.
   Slice of Life about a Promiscious girl
   at first i thought it was a little first, which is good
   then i realized, that many seasonal animes are female empowering
   even if its only sexually.

   But anyway Slice of Life of a promiscious girl
   ....who settles for a nerdy japanese guy (who is not a shouta O_O).....

   Anyway First episode seems ok, just hope it doesn't go the way of the cliche nerd fantasy >.>

   Didn't get to see any spring?/summer? anime chart for whats coming this new season.
   so this took me by limited surprise, what do you think?

There's nothing idyllic to be noted here. In fact, it sounds more like a season's worth of not-really-hentai-but-close-to-it scenes that many anime made these days seem to focus on.

    slice of life = a day in the life of [main character]
    it's not idyllic, it's just their story

    But wouldn't that mean every story that has a main character is slice of life? That term arose out of things that generally have simple, homey themes, not the kind of extraordinary setups that you see present here.

    not really. it's usually in the progression of a school day.

    every other non slice of life story, day or night, relative time isn't particular to the story.

    Slice of life isn't restrictive to school days, but a portrayal of one's daily life is often included because one's daily routine is usually something of the ordinary to a character's life. That a story must chronologically play one's daily life isn't a requisite itself. Suddenly finding oneself in a peculiar romantic relationship falls outside this notion, since it sets itself up for outstanding situations like the images previously posted.

    But it's really up to the anime proper as it fleshes its story out to see what it really is. The premise itself pretty much begs for improbable slapstick situation after slapstick situation, leaving little room for fleshing out the main characters' relationships in a way that can easily be identified with. It's got seinen romance comedy slapstick written all over it. Love Hina follows the daily lives of one bumbling ronin and his harem of tenants, but it's not really considered slice of life for the reasons noted; it has too much of a focus on other things outside of this daily life portrayal, which in the case of B Gata seems like it would be tantalizingly sexual situations.
