Some hentai get pretty badly censored. Subbed and uncensored hentai is the best, especially fansubbed.

DAMN IT! ~ YOU read my thoughts H-Ero.. for I agree.

In actuality, I don't mind small pixilation, where you can see the outline enough that its close to being uncensored.

However... when its so oversized that it obscures the scene completely, then it bothers me (but not too much) because I know what going on to begin with.

I'm usually not bothered by pixelization (I probably got use to it from watching so much hentai) but I do get bothered when there are a lot of close-up shots of the censored areas. IMO the most bothersome type of censorship is when the genitals are completely whited out (or in the case of older hentai, when the genitals are never even shown).

    LOL!!

Same here, I just got used to it from watching so many of them...

Ndeed, and I remember those (the invisible genitalia) and those still exist as I at times, run into them on occasion.

  4. Bumping because I just watched the 1st dubbed ep on youtube. As someone who hates dubs, I must say it wasn't nearly as bad as I expected it to be and I expect later episodes will probably be pretty decent once the actresses get adjusted to their roles. Thankfully they didn't try too hard to make Yui sound moe and they didn't give any of the girls annoying accents. Of course the dub wasn't great (though it was definitely better than most dubs of moe anime IMO) and it can't compare to the original, however I wouldn't mind watching some more episodes (I think I'll skip ahead to one of the beach episodes next).

IMO the worse thing about the dub was the lack of "un-tan", which they replaced with Yui saying "one, two".

As someone who has never watched a Singaporean dub, I was surprised that it sounded like a normal American dub and that they kept in the honorifics.

  5. I get the funny feeling that Asuza isn't gonna be left all alone in the club room. Since Yui's sister is one of her pals and is quite talented too.

#5 is out if anyone cares

  6. I'm probably not going to watch another dub episode now that I've watched episode 4. While their voices don't bother me, their acting is barely better than most fan-dubbers. The only thing worse than their acting is their pronunciation of Japanese words (which is equivalent to how bad most fan-dubbers pronounce them). The way they pronounced "Sakura" (the name of their high school) reminded me of the dub of CCS. I'm not sure if they're pronouncing it that badly on purpose (like the dub of CCS did) or if they really think that's how it's pronounced.

They also raped the moe moe kyun~ parts (they didn't even include the "kyun~"), but that was to be expected.
