  1. Atlus has been known to release risque games before. Though this one seems to be very deliberate. There's no doubt that I'm buying it when released.

How can a game with that many indecency disclaimers still be rated T?

Heh, boobs, what a gimmick. I'm less than intrigued.
But I'm not a gamer in the first place anyway.
It looks like there's a token DFC to cater to everyone's tastes though, which is nice.

So they decided to use Oppai as their next signature for the game?
I didn't know that they'll be using this method now.

It seems to be lacking in the mecha department and is making up with it in the oppai department. Without the mechs, it's just people fighting. I actually might like this way better. The combat system looks revamped. Combos are crazy.

Oh and yeah, it can be translated as Super Robot Wars, which is what it's known as sometimes.

Super Robot Taisen games are notorious for taking mecha from other anime/games and mixing it all together. That's why battle moon wars which was based on srt had all the type moon characters mixed together. There should be more character cameos but I didn't see them in the trailer so I wonder if they're limiting themselves. They seem to be changing a lot. I hope there's more cameo characters, otherwise it won't be as fun.

You mean the Sakura wars anime released by adv? I bought that a few weeks ago. What do you mean it's not alike? The games or the anime? Well there are some ova's and movies that are alternate retellings of the same story. Oh and yeah, Sakura wars = Sakura taisen.

Sakura Taisen is classic. Sakura Wars is a spin-off series.

Not only are there as many as six OVAs, one movie and one TV series, not to mention the musicals, but Sakura Taisen originated as a tactical console RPG. I recently got the re-release of the first two games for PSP, and am only about halfway through the second game. I've already bought Sakura Taisen V for PS2 as well, though I have yet to play it.

Yeah, I wanna play the games. I don't think any have been released in english. Or it's just too hard to find it nowadays.

For no reason whatsoever, I'm going to tell you what got me into the Sakura Taisen franchise. It was Natsuki Takaya's(author of Fruits Baskets) constant ramblings of the game in the corners of her manga. After hearing about her playing it so much, I just had to find out what it was.
