Smell can also come for wearing the same clothes for too long or something. Or even diet. (Especially certain medicine can give you a bad smell) It doesn't necessarily have to be how regularly you wash yourself.

well i do advise proper higiene,change of clothes and i shower every 2nd day.I showered almost every day when i worked.
Wash myself when i stay up,even under armpits with some soap,use deodorant and sometimes a parfume for men.Because my sweat doesn't smell stronger then the parfume,but it could still happen that i showered, used deodorant and would still sweat much and it could smell bad but doesn't always,so men parfume does cover that smell since it isn't stronger then my sweat.I mean wtf i couldn't just stop at work and go wash myself everytime just because i sweat sometimes more then other times.
Oh and girls have a strong smelling nose,so it would bother them pretty much.Posted 6 years ago # -
Yeah, transpiration is quite an annoying problem. It's gonna get worse now that summer is coming up again. I actually saw an interesting Japanese advertisement some times ago, which showed small pads that you could fold into the inside of your blouse. They had perfume on them and absorbed sweat. Quite an interesting idea if you ask me. I'd like to try them sometime.
(Has anyone noted the derailment by the way? Not that I mind... XD)

hmm well if it's used under the armpits that will probably cause some problems,like inflamations and then infections or even alergies.

Not showering is a turn off for both sexes no one likes a smelly person.I'd want nothing to do with a smelly girl so I can assume a girl would not want anything to do with a guy who smells like a dirty towel hamper on a hot august afternoon.
It sucks to run into these people in public while grocery shopping as they leave a chocking miasma in the aisle and even worse if you run into them at a restaurant.

I should add i do know at least one of the reasons i tend to reek. I pretty much always have ero dreams and as such wake up with a certain scent and sadly when this happens too regularly i tend to shower less. I should also not that i do shower before going out unless it's just going to be for a few seconds like say to pick up 1 or 2 items in under 10 minutes. Though if i REALLY smell i'll just take a quick one and skip fapping and just wash under my arms.

An Otaku (preferrably who works also as a Slice-of-Life genre Mangaka) would probably know what to do with certain circumstances in real life socialism with the opposite gender.
But the major problem that is faced is the actualization compromised with the physical appearance of the being. An Otaku has a sense of what's going on in the minds of real people (generally), due to the fact that they can write up realistically patterned emotional behaviours in their scripts or names (as an example).
For instance, a stereotypical boyfriend is implicitly presented with a new shirt or blouse that is being worn by the girlfriend. The gf wants the bf to notice, but the bf unintentionally doesn't.
A typical Otaku would probably know about it, he would know what to do and how it should be done. But in actuality, he performs it differently, though the "thought" counts, his manners in ding is definitely weird/creepy, in the end he does not impress the girl. Some otaku also know about it, but just stay silent as they know that they would be carried away and do it in a wrong way.
Most women scorn them as they stereotypically creepy, weird and geeky. It would so much affect their social being to the point of their lives getting ruined. Though, not all otaku are the same and some have really good self-control and social skills, the otaku title would still scar them.

Based on your definition of otaku, you could call an Olympic athlete an athletic otaku. You could call a musician a music otaku.
Not just Japanese women, not just women, but society in general shuns behavior AND stereotypes that are related to being an anime otaku i.e. masturbating to anime hentai tentacle raeped lolis is seen as repugnant, having horrible hygiene, being stereotypically socially awkward, etc.

Because the otaku get into a plethora of trouble and mischievous stuff, especially in Japan. If you notice, a lot of otaku crimes happen in Japan, which leads to the Japanese to think that being otaku will automatically make you a sick pedophile that actually rapes women. And since tons of otaku get into trouble, the Japanese then group us "normal" otaku along with the creepy ones. >_>
