Maybe only try this one??If you're familiar with Super Robot Wars, its pretty similar to that, except you can't switch pilots since they are not using robots.
They are turn-based strategy game. I never got around to finish it got to stage 12? 13? somewhere around there and then got too lazy to finish it.
I see Saber Lily in the background of the pic, maybe I should play it =P

I played it for awhile then stopped because some other things came up. Never got back to playing it. It's a pretty good game though.

BMW is one of the most solid games in terms of its rendition of the Super Robot Wars engine and more importantly the Type-moon world it represents. Like CCC's doujins, it melds both universes, FSN and Tsukihime's (Kara no Kyoukai is the prototype of Tsukihime) with ease for those who are /tm/ fags like myself.
For those who only know or have played FSN, half the fun is missed out as Tsukihime plays an important part and their characters insert a lot more humour in the game. Kohaku is Saber's master, come on. Arcueid, Ciel and Akiha combo attack!
In terms of game value, the tried-and-tested engine relies on basic strategic planning, but more so in leveling up your characters. If you level up say Shiki properly, he can be weak in terms of HP and damn near impossible to hit, as he should be. You'll find all your Noble Phantasms, Marble Phantasms, Mystic Eyes, Demon blood, and Reality Marbles in this game as well as combos with certain characters that border on awesome to hilarious.
The downside of this game is that if you're a crazy Battle Mastery nut, you'll have a hard time on some (but very few) missions and if you have a giant character preference, you'll find some characters will be discarded (Isn't it sad, Sa-chin?). But it's all in the realm of the possible since the Battle Save option exists.
In all, BMW is a must for all Type-moon fans and since it's 'complete', you can fully enjoy the story, and your favourite characters. It's not voiced so there's no delicious Kana Ueda as my Rin, but it makes up for it. For the uninitiated; its a fun game, but have at least have some understanding of the TM universe as congested it can be.
tl;dr: KOHAKU ARE YOU MY MASTA.
