   I'm wondering if there is anybody around with scanlation experience who would be interested in assisting with the translation and publication of Yuu Mental Clinic's excellent manga series?

   There are several more which need translation, and more which might be nice to translate, but they take quite a long time to complete - too long for me, perhaps.

   Ichiro was kind enough to help cleaning the text, and did a very nice job, but typesetting and translation still remain as major impediments.

   i do some random hard-translating on my free time but i would need some one to do the translation as i'm only a typeseter. Check out motaku's site by clicking on my avi to check out some of the things i've done.

   I'm also good for typesetting. I'd need help for translation though. Perhaps if you post one of the raws, with translations, and let some of us take a crack at it, you can better judge the quality. To clarify, I mean the same page done by different people so you can better compare.

   Anyway, I'd love to offer my services if possible.

   Is there an easy way of adding a translation to a manga without dealing with anything fiddly? I can only think of notes on the Channel of the top of my head.

   I suppose we have an advantage in that I can always translate in a pinch.

   The channel would probably be the easiest way.

   Another option is to put the translations on a notepad with notes like [frame 3, speech bubble 2] or something like that. But that would be even more complicated and has a high chance of error.

   Or you can use any image editor and just throw the translated text next to or over the original raws. Depending how difficult/easy the text is to read, this might or might not work.

   I vouch for the channel. It's the simplest and easiest to use.

   thats more than enough for me to get to work. my last 2 projects where done like that and i also typeseted the beako h-doujin on the channel. If you get them up i'll do it, just don't blame me for any spelling errors :P

    I think I can help out with translation if you still need (and I mean really need). I have some experience in a group, although I'd prefer it if they didn't know I was doing this.

    If you could shoot me an e-mail, I'll show you some stuff I've done.

    I mean, not like my Japanese is better than the great Artefact's. ;)
