I also liked Railgun better than Index, but Index s2 is on the edge of turning that around...
But out of all three series, Railgun is the only one of which I'm sure I really, fully, absolutely understood the entire story.

As for bad anime I've seen
Crying Freeman has to be the worst. The animation was bad, even by late 80's anime standards. The story was filled with holes and overall was just retarded.
Naruto, Bleach, Inuyasha... I don't like kicking dead horses, so I'm gonna skip on those.
Love Hina, He Is My Master, Kannagi and NGE, they were not terrible, but by the time I got to watch them I've heard so many over the top good things about them (OMG is da best Animoo EVAAAR!!1! type comments) that they didn't live up to the hype.

It has NOTHING on the manga as is sadly quite a normal problem. Though it wasn't the worst thing i've ever seen. That may be akira or Evangelion. Well maybe not even them.

eh well sometimes what i dont understand is that a lot of animes are different from the manga....kinda annoys meh >.<
I'm not sure how should I feel about Hamtaro, I mean it was a retarded ass series about fucking hamsters, so because of that I only watched like 6 minutes of it (collective time from freezing in dumbness, then horror then switching channels).

It's cause quite often the manga isn't done yet so they improvise the ending. That or they feel they need to add something. In most cases said additions suck and in the case of not being done yet they add either filler(not ALWAYS bad) or they finish with their(damn you know you're messed up when you can't even remeber how to spell their) own ending.

Its beyond me why they do that (way too fucking often too), that's like wiping your ass while your turd is only midway out, you only end up making one big sloppy shitty mess (literally).
