FMP Live Action

  1. hehe...some say it's real but...bah! I don't care....they just want to milk the cash cows which is anime nowadays....just let them do it, a little bit of practicing anime adaptations won't hurt right?

  2. I love FMP's humor.
I think this will ruin it's name. Sad.

  3. maybe some of you might miss this...the most hated (correct me if I'm wrong) dunce Zac Efron has "interests" with this live action adaptation..

Where is Mandalay Pictures' studio located?

    Nevermind I Googled it.
    They're a Hollywood studio.

I don't understand. FMP never had a North American release as big as the other properties coming to live-action like Street Fighter, Speed Racer, or even the planned Ghost in the Shell.
And if anything most of these properties have been around for a long time.
It would be way too soon to make a live-action film of a series that never grew a cult fanbase, to then just ruin it with live-action (they can never replicate those characters with l-a counterparts).

No, I think they're buying the license to sell it to another studio, possibly another Asian one.

  5. the main worries i have are...

will it have the humor that fomoffu has, wich really, is the FMP every oen likes.

how will they managed to capture the charm of captain Tessa and Chidori? and will the get the feel for it correctly? and what about their hair colors?

They can't. There are no actors anywhere on earth nearly awesome enough to play a fraction of the cast.
We'll have to genetically create them in labs.

Expect to see this film in 60 years (plus 10 or 20 years to develop the technology) when the oldest cast member reaches the appropriate age.

Only cuz I want a girl in a bikini to fight cyber crimes.
I may be more excited about 3D tachikomas though. I'd do one. They're sexy, sentient robots.

  15. God, I just remembered Sagara's priceless GAR-ness.
Not even the Magic of Hollywood can do a thing about that.

There's no explaining to it. Sagara's GAR. Really.
Andddd you didn't miss anything. You just don't acknowledge him as GAR yet.

  18. How about Adam Sandler as Sagara Sousuke?

He was middle-eastern & hilarious in Zohan! He's the best American for the job.

  19. haha..lol if Adam Sandler became Sousuke then it'll tun into a hippie movie with sex and boobs all around...hahahaha....

For me, don't expect that they'll just copy the series, I guess they'll only get the main core or idea of the series, which is high school renegade type boy protecting mystic schoolgirl..no more Japanese stylized combat, fomoffu, etc...
