Game Discussion

  1. Oh yea! I had an interesting dicussion with another gamer lately, a question was brought up:

    "Is auto-aim considered cheating?"

    and

"Completely unassisted, would a keyboard+mouse dominates controller?"

    yes

depends on the game and player skill realy, these "keyboard vs. controller" arguements tend to just be flames since i've seen people who were good with one and not the other. and i've seen people who are good with both.

i've got a friend who plays tf2 with a 360 controller on pc and can dominate a lot of matches. he's on par, or even better than me when i use a keyboard and mouse. and rapes me when i play halo with him on 360, because i'm just not good with a controller.

  3. So - at mastery, controller and mouse is just another interface - its down to a player's skill?

  4. mouse is better.

and fps games are far from realistic third person shooters are far more realistic because you get a sense of vision and body that you dont get from first person. im sorry but box vision and only being able to move where im looking is stupid.

lol you main cammy as well!? fucking awesome! XD I have yet to go against good ken player though...have you played blueblaze?

my top 3 are Cammy, Fei long and Dan, that's right, Dan. half for humiliation factor half because he actualy is a pretty good fighter if you know how to utilize him. It's always great to bitchslap some superego akuma fighter with Dan. As for Blazblue sadly not yet but i got a big tax rebate and a friend with a ps3 who loves to take me on in fighting games. so once the cash is in my hands thumbs will be blistered, insults will be hurled and much gamming will be done.

  8. I would need 30 min or so to feel out the characters and general gameplay but after that i'd happily give you a fight.

Thanks. i've been lurking in SanCom forever. I just thought its time to, eh, get an account.

Anyway, i am quite an FPS person in recent years (after working through the fear of randomly died.) I touched everything from famous to unfamous one. Namely, Quake Series, Call of Duty Series (I love how that game can zoom with every gun and realistic world.), Crisis series, CS1.6 to Source, some less famous ones like BlackShot, Sudden Attack (these are more of a mmofps) and so on.

    You're welcome.

And I agree with the Call of Duty and other realistic games, but I hate CS1.6 and also source for that matter, due to the simple facts that you don't have stuff like iron sight, and that movement is so limited.

The CS games are games that should just lie down and die imo. ^^

(Not saying valve games a bad, they just suck playing online)

  12. FYI, Modern Warfare 2 has a 3rd person mode, although I havn't tried it. Like aiming down sights.

Speaking of 3rd person, I'm currently playing Mass Effect 2.

Just takes pratice. considering i've been playing Dan for the past *thinks*.. damn, 10 years. i've gotten used to him and know what he can and cant do. my best advice playing dan is don't be afraid to get close. QCB+K is a great way to get close, even if your opponent blocks it most will drop their guard afterwards allowing you to move into a throw or f,d,df+P, even more devistating if you can EX the move. His QCF+P is pretty useless but is a good way to punish anyone who just pulled off a rising atack and just missed or if you've got someone crouch blocking a low sweep or low attack of any kind realy you can chain it in for a high attack to break their guard and aloow a few hits.

ok i'm going to stop typing now or this could go on forever.

the problem i had with the first one was that it was too short. i played it like 6 times but i just wished there was alot more, even with the dlc it was just too short. did they put alot more in it or no?

The 3th PLAY THROUGH, the 3th time I'm about to completing it. I found a pre-release on the net Friday, and been playing it like a madman all weekend.

(And it's the 2nd game I'm talking about, not the 1st, just to clear that up)

It was kinda short, unless you did all the side quests also, and it's the same with the 2nd game.

But the second is A LOT better then the first. But somewhat short too, but with a lot of new and innovative ideas.
