Ushiro no beako-sama Translated

She's a decent seiyuu, some of her roles are deserving of the hype she gets, such as Konata from LS and Kaoru from ZKC.

I just don't like her as Haruhi, and she's definatly not as skilled as people make her out to be.

to each his own, some like, some don't, no grudge held or taken.

    Intresting fact.
Her first anime roll was in Tenshi no Shipo, as Momo, a 10 year old monkey.

something i noticed when i looked up her anime history on wiki was that a lot of characters that i liked were voiced by her, like pachira from magipoka, shikimi in himawari, mei in manabi straight.....

I didn't know she was mei.

I'm getting to the point now where I can recognise seiyuu I know by just hearing their voice.
It only works for women, most of the time though. Can't do it with men.

i'm just starting that phase too, when i saw the first episode of Hyakko when Ayumi thinks of possible responces to her freinds for being late, i knew she sounded to close to konata in one of them to be a coincidence.

    Kip

I think Aya's overhyped, but she has acting talent. I like what she can do.
It's too bad she's made immortal because of her two roles, when so many before her have worked in the industry for years to make a name, who are as good, and some, admittedly, who are better.

part of it also has to do with how memorable and likeable the character itself is, many people loved konata for being an otaku and others like myself like haruhi for being so wierd and having an interesting outlook on life. i don't know much about voice acting so i cna't say much about it, just that i liked the voices she gave those two.

I think Noto is over hyped too. Admittedly, she can act well, but her voice is just so annoying, and is the same in every anime she is in.

    Mamiko Noto.

Kotomi Ichinose, Nogizaka Haruka, Kota from Kanokon, Yukino in Mai-hime.

Well over 100 rolls, since 1999 I would say.
