Wait a sec hows that like Bakuman. Unless you mean the part about making anime/ manga. We can make it more shonen esque by having the main characters uncle die because of the stress his harem caused him. So he's only allowed to make an anime if their's no harem involve. Causing him to hide his harem from his parents.

That reminds me of the idea I had in the short story thread. The main character in the end summons a pie to replace the moon. The solar flare hits the pie and cooks it. The sun god then decides to not attack them since he gets to smell apple pie everyday.
I get the feeling something like that could work on adult swim and you can always sneak in fan service.

I didn't really finish it. I was thinking there'd also be a spirit in the futon and when they have to save the earth she confesses to him. It also turns out she's incredibly obsessed. As in she likes all the stain he left in futon when he wet the bed when he was child, had wet dreams and stuff like that.
