thanks. it was greatly appreciated. i'll dl it as soon as i finishes DLing toradora. 17/25... 8 more to go. or 9. depends on the general populace's opinion on the OVA.

you're welcome! if you have a speedy internet line, then why don't just dl the OVA and see it for yourself? after all, people have different tastes.....(to tell you honestly, I still didn't watch the OVA, where can you dl the OVA?)

  4. I just watched a quarter of the OVA...it's a bit mind-draining with no relationship with the show..I'm not saying that it's bad, it's recommended for fans who are not satisfied with the show and wants more Toradora humor....

  6. As for fresh series which are much easier to get to grips with...

K-On is pretty decent so far and it has Mio in it! Give that a go and see how it er, goes.

Valkyria Chronicles looks pretty good so far and as the game has a pretty good storyline with great characters, I expect the anime to do it justice.

  8. Other than phantom, I'm probably most excited about Arad Senki. Mostly just because the animation reminds me of Tengen Toppa a bit.

  10. I just realized the character designs for Eden of the East were done by Chika Umino, and I really want to watch it now.

Are we allowed to offer classics?
Sadly I have no time to DL and watch much of what is coming in the new season, nor do I care for some of the new stuff, therefore my spring viewing list is paltry.

I would recommend however Overman King Gainer for anyone who has not seen it.

    Yay, wiki!

It's so campy and weird. Loveable series, yet easy to rip on, especially the dub!

  13. wow! thanks guys for the animes, but the truth is, I'm way too picky..I checked almost all animes that you all mentioned; only a few passed my quality, plot, and art style standards.

  16. so where talking about any anime show in general??it's hard to recomend anything due to personal tastes. I myself found several series that i found very good

    Hidaramri Sketch
code geass...(i know i'm late on this one)
    K-on
    Striek Witches
    sky girls
    manabi straight
    Gundam 00

in the classics section of my mind i find...

saint seiya, (ou have to watch the 12 houses arc before anything else)
    gunsmith cats
    slayers
    Haruhi
    eyeshield 21
    penguin musume heart

quite the varied taste i have

  18. Things that interest me this season, though I can't yet vouch personally for the quality either sound interesting or have been recommended by multiple people.

Valkyria Chronicles is awesome. I can tell that the game behind it was done by the same team as the really old Phantasy Star games because the main character is just that awesome, a surprisingly capable female in a culture of moeblobs (I love this word so much), but...

K-On!, despite being moeblob to the extreme, is awesome, as it's basically Lucky Star's moe elements combined with a thicker plot more like Kannagi. Actually the character designs remind me a lot of Miyazaki's films, though admittedly the animation is simpler than Ghibli's work. Understandable, really.

Basquash comes highly recommended, though I still need to see it.

I haven't taken a look at Dragonball Kai or FMA series 2, but I sure want to.

For stuff from last season, Sora o Kakeru Shoujo sure is wacky, anyone who hasn't seen Kannagi needs to, and I am loving Toradora, actually, though you don't need me to tell you that last bit.

Basquash's first episode was awesome, but as of now I'm worried as to the flow and direction of the series. I don't have anything to recommend though, I've been a little unimpressed with everything I've seen so far, but I'm only about half through all the first episodes. I'm sticking with Phantom in any case, since I started playing the game like 3 weeks ago. (What have they done to you, Lizzie!?)
