I think I need not quote the article nor say much about it. I would advise all of you to read the comments for that article.

Those comments made my IQ drop like an anchor in the Pacific.
Or like a whale from the stratosphere.
....Run Goku, run!
Why does everyone commenting keep saying "Only $45 mil"?
That seems like an awful lot of money to toss around on anything.
A trillion here, a trillion there, and now you're talking real money!
It's because other blockbuster adaption films such as Watchmen and Batman cost over $100,000,000.
But what they dont realise is, that most of this cost is because those films where shot in the highest deffinition cameras on the planet, and only half the film is actually live action.
They actually broke one of them during the filming of Batman, though.
$100,000,000?!
You mean yen?
That still would be an awful lot of money...
Unbelievable.
I'm in the wrong profession.
Wiki says
Budget $185 million[1]
Gross revenue $1,001,842,429[1]
For the Darknight.
So thats $185,000,000.

One billion dollars? Someone get Dr. Evil on the line!
How'd they gross 1 billion USD?!
Imax.
I-max charges like £20 a tiket.
It appears that Dragonball and its progeny will be providing fodder for Sankakucomplex for years to come.
