I can't remember. It was before RIUVA mentioned it, because I regularly read their stuff before here.
The problem was, a lot of these great blogs quit reporting anime, began griping about it and people that watch it, or began flaming others, but rarely reporting anything new or interesting, except episode caps, and what not.
That's to say nothing of their love for flaming commenters as well. A little of that I can stand, but for some blogs it got to be too much.That's right when San*Con (and why do people spell it like that anyway, and not San*Com?) came around, so it was an easy transition for me, as I got around to reading it every couple of days to a week or more (like most blogs then) to now... hourly, minute-ly...

Sorry for the late reply. Couldn't get on the computer safely all day. Anyway, yeah, that's why I hate ann. It was the first forum I ever joined but it's by far the worst. Everyone there is incredibly childish. They also love to start fights for no apparent reason. Well, there are a few nice guys I know there. Even the moderators are bad. There's only 1 moderator that I like over there. They don't do anything about the things that need to be moderated but they get power crazy whenever they can. I started hating the guy from HOUSE cause the moderator used that face as his avatar. Just talking about them is infuriating.
Anyway, I think sankaku is the website which I most frequently visit.

This website moderates itself. The regular members aren't retarded, and we're all bonded by the fact that we're sick fucks. This is like... one of the few places on the entire internet where you can talk about naked drawn children and random otaku crap and be comfortable.

I found the site because I think someone linked to an idol gallery about 4-5 months back. I looked at more and more of these idol galleries and fell in love with the site because many of them were hot and high-quality.
I kept coming back in hopes for more galleries and because the site recommended Kannagi, which turned out to be quite excellent indeed. Also found out about Strike Witches, which was cool.
Channel has some cool pictures on it as well sometimes, too.

Hmm, I hate most other otaku. Or at least the ones I know in real life.
You guys are cool though, we're like the san*con family.I guess you're right though, since all of our intrests are pretty much the same, there is no real need to moderate a site.
