    It's annoying that they put forth an actual possible decent story and neglected it. But no, I don't think they should tone it down on the ecchi. They can do but though, and fill it with plenty of ecchi without making it a slice of life.

    this is probably what we want, but how much plot is enough so that there is a coherent story but that doesn't completely overtake all of the episodes. what anime out there had a decent plot that was still small enough that they could throw in some service.....

    i know that the last thing we want is for them to pull a gundam00 and kill off 1/2 of the cast in the last 3 episodes....

    I know i'll get tons upon tons of scorn for saying this, but seeing the plot development on Strike Witches reminded me of an earlier Gonzo project called "Van-Dread".

    then again, that show had only ONE DFC, three idiots, and a fuckton of walking/talking tits... and the DFC wasn't -that- cute to begin with.

    That aside, I'm liking these characters, I just hope they tone down the fan service a bit. I enjoyed the original, but it could've done with a bit less "in your face action", if you know what I mean (Yes Sanya, I'm looking at you).
