because every anime has it's own genre, it would be unfair to compare

I'd hesitate between the three only animes I ever bought in their retail version (after watching their fansbus):
- Shakugan no Shana
- Zero no Tsukaima
- Welcome to the NHKI personally tend to dislike too ''profound'' animes...

This is yet another hard, hard question (like the best female character post), i just have too many series that i loved a fucktonne to choose my fav. some good choices being throw around here, like Shana (<3), code geass, gundam 00, 5 Centimeters Per Second, Zero no Tsukaima, welcome to the NHK and of course, Eva... so insted im going to offer you guys an oft neglected gem. REC. ohhh, i dearly want more of it, but it was wonderful while it lasted. 15 mins of pure win.

I have to say the one I personally devour- to the point of inflicting it on Non-Otaku's is "Genshiken" cause it's such a great window into the 'sub-culture' and it's got great chracters. I love the dialogue between Maderame & Saki.
For EPIC (or long running sagas) Classics you go with: "Cowboy Bebop" & "Evangelion" or "Bleach"
for the Neo-Noir's you go with "Gantz", "Death Note" or the "Ultimate Hellsing"
Comedys (or Harems) "School Rumble", "Full Metal Panic: Fumufu" or "Pani Poni Dash" maybe. I guess "Haruhi" fits her as well.

actually they have the gay walk festival all gays in mexico walks around the city with invredible cotumes but all were TRAP haahah too bad they're not real woman
