it's called Bookoff. Used book store. It's by Avenues of America / Bryant Park. 'tis my hangout (along with Kinokuniya, where I also buy a lot of goods)
I think it was only copy then but another might surface again. They have lot of shit you wouldn't expect it to be there for very good price. There's also good amount of anime OSTs for around or cheaper then 15$

There's a Bookoff in the city? Aww...it's in midtown. I rarely go above 23rd street. I gotta find some time to go up there one of these days. At least to check out kinokuniya. It's a great shame to not go there when I'm this close.

Well whne i get my own place it's gonna have anime towels anime dishes and i may even have a dai gurren brigade flag outside oh yeah and anime clocks plushies figures and so on it's gonna be something like those otaku gods apartments.

Nah, I'm not going to actually use them. They're both being hung up on my walls in my bedroom.
Also, I try to collect as much K-on! and Vocaloid stuff as I possibly can. I love both, so I tend to just hit that pre-order button whenever I see things from either. =P
Sorrior - Sorry, I usually don't spend this much all at once. =P I just have a lot of pre-orders coming in for the month of December. Seven more things are supposed to come in any time now. Usually I just buy little by little because I can't afford much, but I still have a pretty nice sized collection anyways.

While definitely low-key compared to some of this stuff, I just put in a pre-order for the Spice and Wolf US DVD collection. The dub is excellent. The script uses slightly archaic english, like 19th century US english, and Holo speaks in a slightly more archaic form- Kinda like the King James bible, but with a modern US accent.
You can check it out on Funimation's site, the've posted a couple dubbed episodes for streaming.
It does make me a little sad the transition from Horo to Holo, but given that she's been shown to sign her name with Roman characters as "Holo" it's to be expected. I just wish the VA would use that japanese sound that's neither english R nor L.
