So, we have plenty of threads about anime and manga, after all that is the point of the website, but what about literature in general? What are you reading right now, or what have you been reading.
I just finished The Kite Runner. It was better than I thought it would be. I am currently reading Bin Laden: The man who declared war on America.
You?

I don't want to admit it, but I'm a fan of Dan Brown. His witty imagination is interesting that I'm able to understand every move and action he wrote in his books. Especially Digital Fortress.
I'm reading Haruki Murakami's Norwegian Wood right now. Hope that I finish it before next month.

I tend to read fantasy/sci fi or the encyclopedia and science rags. Right now i'm not reading much but palnning to reread the sovereign stone trilogy and maybe even the death gate series. I may go into greater detail later pretty damn tired.

I'm not reading anything at the moment, as I'm busy with my credit load, otherwise I read historical non-fiction/novels as well as science fiction.
Also any book that has to do with a physical science or astrophysics I'll read.

I know how you feel, I haven't got much pleasure reading done, I'm spending all my time with Calculus and school books. Which aren't bad, I'm reading Walden and Into the wild before Christmas, for school. It's fun, because Chris, the character in into the wild, references walden as one of the reasons for his journey and eventual death.

Read textbooks? What? NO! NEVER!
I kid, I'm in that exact spot. I hate how dull most Social Science text books are. They have a severe case of word vomit and poor sentence structure. Also the: NEXT I'm GONNA TALK ABOUT BLAH! THEN BLAH! Even in my 2nd year in college taking the highest levels of any social science that my school offers; I'm still treated to this whenever I go to read a chapter. *sigh* the life of a history major. /rant
Speaking of calc, have fun with calc 2. I don't plan to go further in mathematics, however I decided to take it.

Have fun with calculus. That was the worst book I ever read, and by now I've forgotten pretty much everything except the power rule lol

Actually one of the few sci-fi books I've read was...Ender's Game I think, it's rather old.

I'm reading up on my collection of Perry Rhodan. I'm nearing issue #1000, about 1500 more to go.

oh! Also, for school, we're reading Shakespearean sonnets, only like a dozen, but they're not exactly the most fun I have ever had. For a rather cold person to read something painfully emotionally, is, in itself, painful.

The last book I read was Across the Nightingale Floor. I bought the Tales of the Otori trilogy a great many years ago but... I haven't gotten around to finish it.
Something that I would like to read is Terry Pratchett's Discworld series. I am a huge fan of the first 2 games (Eric Idle as Rincewind? Brillaint!), and the 2 movie adaptations entertained me greatly. The only thing putting me off is the fact that there are 36 (+2) books in the series... Since I haven't even finished a trilogy, there's just no way I'd be able to finish a series 12 times longer :P

I tend to read sci-fi or fantasy. Although my favourite book is The Illuminatus! Trilogy.
I think I have a copy of Lolita that I never got round to reading. It's an e-book, but close enough.

~ I tend to read a variant of subjects and genres... its never the same.
I could be reading a dictionary, followed by a Military FM, and the next a Horror Classic Novel by Stoker or Shelly, or a series (like the Sherlock Holmes Strand Issuant's) By Sir Arthur Conan Doyle
