Which reminds me, the other Street Fighter movie starring Jean Claude Van Damme was awesome.

That was an sarcastic statement right? Just to be sure.

I thougt this movie was horribe. I can only asume it was Van-Dammes doing that he actually is the only martial artist in there. You can't do a movie like Street Fighter with normal actors, as you don't do Nature documentary with stuffed animals.

  4. The ending did hint at a possible sequel...

Hey, I was like, 8 years old back then when I saw Van Damme's Street Fighter. It was memorable and GOOD TIMES at least despite realizing its cheesiness years later.

As for "Legend of Chun Li", it's forgettable, soon to be lost in the anus of history.

Initial review of the event as a whole, not the movie. I skipped the movie because my designated driver had to go pick up his wife lol

i agree totally, heck if i had it i'd slip it into my xbox and play it now, it may not have been great but it was entertaining enough back then.

on another note, this is strike 2 for hollywood, first dragon ball and now this? they must be brain dead over there if they can't see how bad there failing and are about to bury themselves in debt...

    Kip

The producers get lots of money to make this movie. They make a tanker, plan for a trillogy, they still make a couple million from rights to sell it and even scrape some off the side of prodiuction costs, and use the leftover to buy a Ferrari.
    Tale as old as time.

They even made a play out of this kind of technique, it's called "The Producers".

Money and royalties. The actors don't really care as the thing they adapt is not originaly from their place anyways. So in the end, it turns out suck
