Spoilers - Your opinion?

  1. So I'm just getting onto the forums when I notice the thread about the end of Kannagi. I'm really, really, really tempted to click it. I've watched the first two episodes, and read the first fourteen chapters that are out, but I haven't had a chance to catch up due to school.
Anyway, I'm usually lenient on spoilers, not really caring if I know what happens or not. However, Kannagi just won't let me look into the thread. I did for a second and just saw the very top of the image, and I closed it right away.

Anyway. Do you care about spoilers? Are you the type of person to yell "Dumbledore dies!" at the Harry Potter book launch? Or are you so afraid of spoilers that you're unwilling to open links to suspicious anime sites, in case they have episode summaries?

  2. im the kinda person that will read the comments on anime streaming sites before i even watch. i dont care about spoilers really. unless im really into the story and it a great story, which is quite rare for me.

but i also dont like people who say cry about spoilers when its your fault for being a forum or any other place people chat. you should automatically assume someone might spoil it and be prepared.

and like that guy that shouted a spoiler at that book launch, i think he should get kicked in the nuts.

  3. There is more to a story than some plot twists. It's annoying when something gets spoiled, although I'm not going to lose my mind over it.

Other than the plot, in a typical motion picture you have: music, animation, voice acting, various ideas conveyed in the film/series, character building etc.

If an entire series or movie is going to get spoiled over 1 or a few little details, it's probably not worth watching in the first place. In other words, it's probably just some cheap entertainment.

Even when I read spoilers, I care more about what happened that caused the end to happen, which is the most important part and often the most emotional part.

True, true. I've read the ending to Fate/stay night, mostly because I couldn't get the game, but now I have it and I'm playing it for the stuff I missed because the anime didn't have it, and the stuff I read was a brief summary of the ending.

  5. I HATE spoilers. I don't care how simple they are. If someone tells me the ending to an anime/game was sad, I wont watch it cause I'll be expecting it. I don't even read the synopsis. It's just how I am. I like to be totally oblivious so that I'm susceptible to every surprise and twist.
