Evolving random splotches of spreading scabby fur? Most people would consider that devolution. Having thicker darker hair all over our body doesn't really help us much.

I dont see why it would be a devolution...wats so great about being naked besides being smooth? i see no benefits in the wild...

We're not naked. In fact, we have more hair follicles than a chimpanzee, it's just less dense/coarse/dark/etc. I don't see how having fur randomly spread across your body out of a mole is advantageous. Other kids clearly find it repulsive, and usually if a mutation is negative, other member of the species would stay away or refuse to reproduce with the mutant. And yes, here in Florida us humans are perfectly capable of surviving Winter bare-ass naked =]

Try it in a northern climate i dare you. Fat and hair help us against cold mainly fat.

I cant find any way to argue your point (boo...lol) ...except that that certain trait will be useful in areas where you cant migrate...but average humans would just migrate...so it matters not...and yea i wouldnt mate with it so your right ^^,
