What are your source of Anime Images and Arts?

  1. Hi everyone
I have been surfing sankaku for a while and seen many great anime images and arts, but expect for the channel i never knew how to get or find them.Unlike anime or musics you can find easily on various sites or torrents images are much harder to find them in pack(at least for me) if you don't have a habit to save every cool images that come by(which i don't have). So i happen to need a bunch of various anime art but just don't have any ideas where to find them expect on the channel.Oh and since we are already talking about images does anyone know how to resize or scale an images resolution? i'm currently using Picasa 3 for all my images needs but i haven't find a way to scale the images yet

  4. Well I'm not really sure where to find good anime image and arts, besides here, you could try searching some of the imageboard sites like 4chan (and the link) if your willing to go through the hassle. As for fanarts, Pixiv and deviantART is a good place to search.

About resizing or scaling images, try using Irfanview. Its free and real simple to use.

Ye same, moe.imouto.org, konachan and googles image search.

Been using the microsoft live image search or whatever it's called lately as well, and although their 'page' search results are crap, the image search is pretty good. At least the user interface is a zillion times better than googles.
Shame google is hanging on to the 'must support even ie5 for the mac with near pixel perfect results' for the main site.

As far as limited simple batch scaling goes, under xp I've always liked the image resizer powertoy for windows xp. Haven't had a need for it under Vista or Linux yet, though I guess under linux it would be some command utilizing imagemagick.
For single image scaling (and other image manipulation) I always use the gimp.. though its a bit overkill for only scaling so you might want to stick with the earlier suggested irfanview.
