Are the Japanese copying the Swedish or the other way around?
When listening to a medley of various popular tunes at NicoNico, I hear the chorus of a song that was in the Swedish takeouts to the Eurovision Song Contest a few years ago. If anyone got a tracklist of this medley or is able identify the tune, please help me out! :)
I am curious to find out which of them that is the ripoff of the other.

Despite the epicness of that video, I've never watched the whole thing until now.
Aparently based on the YouTube video it's called "(Oh) When You Take it Into Your Own Hands" by After Dark.
I wasn't aware that this song had become a meme. That makes the second Swedish song I know that has become a meme in Japan. The first one is of course Caramelldansen. (゜∀゜)

Indeed, the entire song is more or less about masturbation. Of course since it's national television they don't say it right out, but all the lyrics imply Swedish celebrities masturbating.
Hilarious lyrics, and I think most of them can be translated to English and retain the humour. Except for the title, where "(Åh) när ni" is pronounced about the same as "onani", which is the Swedish (and Japanese) word for masturbation.
For double the fun, play the two videos together so that they sync up.

Of course.
I would like to clarify that the lyrics of that song can be interpreted in two ways. It's a tribute to "doing things yourself". The literal meaning of the lyrics celebrate DIY home improving, cooking and car tinkering. The way it is put, it's not hard to make an alternate interpretation that is more interesting. :)

Ummmm, yah, well, the thing is, in Japanese, there are many words that are "borrowed" from other languages, and these words usually are written in Katakana. オナニー (ONANII) is the word for masturbation, and apparently, it was borrowed from the Swedish. Thus, the song, which is (apparently... since I don't know Swedish) supposed to be a pun on the word, works as well in Japanese. Thus, the Japanese also find it funny and put it in the medley.
