Can anyone tell me how to acquire/make/upload an avatar? As much as I love the Sankaku Complex logo, it doesn't really relay who I am! Please don't flame me. I'm new here, and fragile.
It would also be nice if someone listed some of the do's and don'ts. And what the hell is 'fapping'?

Do you mean the main sankakucomplex.com site? If you don't give an e-mail address when posting, it'll do that.

If you don't give an email and name your Gravatar can't be identified. The two systems will be integrated later, but for now please bear with it. And yes, the Channel is completely separate.
