   The blog here is for Kyo-Ani's works for the upcoming season, K-On, which as noted on the main site is about a bunch of girls in a school-sponsored rock band.

   As they seem to be rather popular around these parts I felt it prudent to link to the blog, which currently has featured as its first entry (as of 18 Feb 2009, anyway) a teaser video showing the main characters and some reference sketches of each and a brief sample of an actual sequence from the anime proper at the end.

   Not particularly fluent in Japanese myself, I unfortunately cannot say much on the other content of the site.

   K-On, according to Wikipedia, is a yonkoma about a group of girls thus making it an obvious sleeper hit for Kyo-Ani already. More specifically it deals with a small clique who join a music club to keep it alive despite having no apparent musical talent (or at least experience) whatsoever.

   Other than it will air starting in April, little information is given about its broadcast time and date, though as there is more than a month to go until that point, this is perhaps to be expected.
   Additional information can be gathered for those able to read Japanese about the cast, story, and characters, naturally.

   Remember, you can't spell kyo-ani without k-on! (Heh, pretty lucid writing for 4 in the morning here.)

   The third character is the odd one out because the other 3 look too my mind respectively like costumed versions of Tsukasa, Kagami, and Takara from Lucky Star.

   Actually I slightly prefer the original manga versions of the characters, like from the manga cover in the announcement article on the main site.

   The visual style looks very much like the Haruhi school festival episode. I am more psyched to see it now but also saddened to think it was made at the expense of Season 2. T_T

   Lol agree for the Lucky Star part. Though the third character could qualify for a short-haired Konata perhaps?
