    20. shimapan 35 3.83 00:03:28 0.00% 31.43%

This is out of a total of 16,000 visits via Google - as you can see, the keyword gravity is quite diffuse. What's odd here is that we have hardly any content relating to some of these titles - I presume other sites have even less. If we but had more contributors...

I expect a lot of people are using Google and autocomplete to find their their favourite sites, explaining the high amount of such searching.

SERPS-wise we long ago conquered "sankaku", which used to belong to some obscure judo waza, but taking "complex" may take some time.

I also noticed for the first time some interesting new spellings:

    29. sakaku complex 28 4.57 00:04:28 14.29% 32.14%
    30. sansaku complex 28 2.75 00:05:34 10.71% 57.14
    34. sankoku complex 26 4.27 00:05:00 3.85% 26.92%

Since we place first for all these no action is required to help people with the name, I think.

    Not sure about this:

    15. sakura complex 41 6.39 00:05:03 29.27% 19.51%

Given the bounce rate I presume they find what they are looking for.

Now I think I have to find something Megurine Luka related to post...

  3. I find the loli related keyword's rate to be strange, seeing how we don't carry any loli content here!

  6. There are loli-related articles. After all, that's how I originally found this site last year when it was starting out.

  7. But they are usually "about" loli rather than "consisting of" loli (unless you count harmless swimsuits). In fact most of them seem to be about lolicon rather than actual loli...

  11. artefact, what's the traffic sources overview?

might be that most visitors go directly?

is searching images in google (image tab) counted in the "Keywords"?

I think most of your visitors where from google image search results...

    it's where I came from

I'm not especially good at reading Analytic's readout, but if I'm reading it properly it says about a third of visitors visit the site directly.

I wouldn't know how to differentiate normal Google vistors from Google Image vistors, though.

Looking at the amount of link-ins for "munto tv" and "megurine luka" confuses me, now that I look closely...

  13. Only a few hundred come in daily from image search. Here are the top 10 referrers for the past month:

    2. google / organic 407,336 5.04 00:06:06 37.41% 40.28%
    3. chan.sankakucomplex.com / referral 70,019 5.94 00:08:39 4.24% 28.89%
    4. dannychoo.com / referral 26,729 4.92 00:06:23 8.67% 31.83%

    10. myanimelist.net / referral 8,090 4.18 00:06:51 12.98% 40.96%

Google.com is their feed reader. Direct is probably mainly feed readers and bookmarks.

Roughly a third come in via search engines, a third direct and a third by links.

  14. I'm surprised more don't come through image search. Sankaku's image channel has some very good pics.

Googles image search seems to do a pretty poor job at indexing them to.
Looking at the generated sourcecode for an image page a few possible causes come to light.

    1. Alt text repeats the URL's keywords, might be considered as keyword spam.
    2. Non-standard orig_height and orig_width attributes in the image attribute, guessing they have to do something with the javascript functions being able to do something with them.
    3. The count is visibility: hidden to people with javascript disabled, might get blacklisted for that

Not sure how any of the other image search engines work as I don't use them :), search engine optimizing has only been worth it for google for me. As the country where I live in googles market share is over 9000! errr like 98%.
