  1. I decide to quote my friend on the same debate on this issue in another forum

You obviously don't understand international politics. If you did, you wouldn't have said anything that you said.

Sorry, somehow I deleted the rest of my post so I'll try to paraphrase it for you.

America is in better international favor than it was when GWB was around. That being said, we are the most powerful country in the world and if Obama helps keep the peace internationally I'm all for it.

    OBAMAS HUMBLE ACCEPTANCE VIDEO:

"There are essentially two kinds of Nobel Peace Prizes--achievement-based and "aspirational." President Obama is the first sitting U.S. president to win an aspirational peace prize.... "

Please get your facts straight before calling bullshit.

  2. Well i can say this much i don't get the peace prize for obama thing but i do see problems with some of your comments first off BUSH was behind the wars not obama bush also created a 7 trillion dollar debt i don't think obamas quadrupled it yet. Obama has also banned as it should be the torture of captured enemies among other things bear in mind whenever one of the parties takes over for the other we get a near complete rewrite of policies as a standard part of it. So i say if you wanna see what he's done look at the last 9 months ONLY cause before that was bush town.

But i do still say WTF how did he get one. I just wanted to correct some misunderstandings.

Any other sane nation is going to have more favor for the US when we're caving into their demands and giving things away. They don't want to see us succeed, they want to see our decline. You should feel the anti-American sentiment.

And yes, you people would have voted for Obama based on race, despite the Bush factor. I can't recall how many times I had to listen to how he was "our first black president" and how this would be such great "progress." Racial politics at its worst. The media was completely obsessed with it.

I hammer on race because other people don't consider it enough. You need to get out of this whole red versus blue mentality as well; you'll never be a free thinker if you live in fear that your vote is being "wasted". In the end it's the electoral college that votes anyway.

Impressive editing. You made it I assume?

Anyway, about obama....well I don't really see why he got it. I haven't seen him do anything profound. Not that I know about previous nobel peace prize winners.

  9. He trys at last to do everything he promises not like the most politicans who promise every shit the people want to hear just do get votes and then doing nothing. Something like this is rare this days and has to get an award.

One question: WHAT DID HE DO?

  11. nobel prize carries a lot of prestige for how often they hand them out with such low merit.

People are so gullible. I really wish I could have recorded what I told specific people last fall and then show them now that they've had a dose of reality.

What I'm reading, this supports my argument. What did he do to deserve the Nobel Peace Prize other than cheap sweet talk and succeeding bush. I don't give a flying meatball sandwich about Bush and actions speak louder. I heard of more deserving candidates for the prize than Obama. Face it! this is a political ploy.

Bullshit. Almost all he promised can be done in the time he already wasted doing shit.

Ending the war? He sent more soldiers.
Closing Guantanamo? He builds an even bigger new KZ.

The shithead is going to fuck up royally...

I agree. He's not only broken a huge number of his promises, he's done the exact opposite of what he pledged to do in many of them.

Schrobby, let's not forget..."reigning in the national debt". That's a real laugh after he spent 4x what Bush did his entire term in less than 5 months.

You know, sending more soldiers doesn't mean that there will be more war. You know, soldiers also help at protecting the civil people from the attacks of terrorists and help building towns up again.

Besides that Guantanamo was a piece of shit that was still from the technology of the time when it was build. A way better and modern building will death for those that deserve to die way better and saves way much more money because it doesn't need that much energy as that crap old building.

How you can still defend that sorry excuse of a creature we have as a 'president' is astounding. Are you a masochist by any chance?
