Any U-modders here?

  1. I admit I suck..but I do love toying with Unreal 04 and UT3/FO3 to a limited extent.

    I tend to make whacky weapons and textures first and then get around to doing cooler ones.. that is if I do not fail on my own level of fail...and yes....zippy is high on fail..... =0_o=

    A little while back I got into FO3 modding some but the game is quit annoying to mod...that or I am annoying and bothered by its oddness....=0_o=

    I don't have much in the way fo UT3 stuff I was waiting to get a bit better skilled at UT3 coding and waiting on I dunno..the game to suck less through updates so I kinda lost my code work though its not hard to reproduce the weapons errors and all...what really ticked me off is the locked textures... if I get stuck on something to long I move on...or forget....

  3. How do you mod FO3? I've been playing it and i want to make a gun that shoots mines and grenades but can't seem to find out how to.

    They don't make it to easy it not quite cut and paste like Unreal is.

    How well are you with the geck? I like FOMM more as the geck confuses me and I still can't make a new item in it, ><.

    The most I can do is edit weapons change sounds, change some projectiles,damages and such its kinda tricky, I can walk you through some basic stuff.

  7. My weapon is set up to shoot 50 rail spikes in a burst fire succession each spike is suppose to do the arc motion also. I got it to use the chinese assault rifle, but its not working right and my hands are gone and replaced with cubes. Game is stable but is lagtacular due to particle collsion i guess in Tenpenny Towers.

    wow....50..... can the damn thing even handle it 0-o
    I made a "pukeing" variant of my Centaur it fires 12 or so arching spit projectiles LOL

    you need to set the animation to 2 handed something I believe the C AR animation is the one to use.

    and I suggest cutting the 50 in half to 25 or 30. I don't think the game can handle 50.... is it a fast fireing weapon?

    what a time for me to be without my PC I'll be home this weekend and can naw on it more, the only thing I haz with me is 04 and its fickle enough on uncles PC...I swear I need to get im a 50$ video card....vid chipsets ssuucckkkkk.

    if you tone it down some and lower aim error you'll get a nice cluster shot that will mimic the showery death.

    I am having trouble with my current U mod, I moded the bioglob and got it working almost the way I want. It looks right and works right all but for exploding on touch. ggrrrr *naws on code*
