Danny Choo referred in an image from Sankaku.
I eventually clicked on the picture and was shipped here.

Am I the only one who found it through a post on /b/? It was in October and the article was related to Kodomo no Jikan, or something like that.

    From this post.

  3. A google search looking for info about why Nymphet (Kodomo no Jikan)wasn't going to get published. Then I was hooked. Sankaku is my favorite loli news site!!

  4. I was looking for alternatives to danbooru because their community is shit. So I first came to the sankaku danbooru clone. After awhile I started browsing the articles in the news feeder at the top of the image gallery. Eventually I regularly visited the front page. I had quite a few times in the past come across sankaku in google searches but never bothered looking at it for more than what I was searching for.

The link was posted in an EOTE thread on the BoxTorrents (now BakaBT) forums. After that I clicked on some boobs and visited my first Sankaku oppai gallery. Been hooked ever since xD

My friends on a purportedly-but-not-really-PG-13 forum joked about my animestash/nico nico douga links (or other such related notes) being hentai. I threatened to actually deliver. Then one of them wanted to actually take me up on it, but I'd lost the site I was thinking of (e-hentai.net). I tried to google it and found some article on doujinshi from here, bookmarked it, and went on my way. A week later, I got bored and decided to check out that site I'd bookmarked that time. Oh, what a sweet addiction I had to the channel that first month. Or two. Maybe three.

  8. Some fool on rpgamer.com linked me here when I heard a rumor the main Star Ocean dev really wanted to be an eroge dev.

"You are forewarned," he said prophetically, "That is a dangerous website."

Never bothered to check their community out.

But I'm curious, could you please explain why you thought it was "shit"?
(I'm not asking this in a sarcastic/ironic way.)

There are nice and decent people there but those who run the place and those at the top tend to be trollish, inconsiderate, nasty, and very testy. That wouldn't matter so much if the consequences weren't so stiff. Also those who are important were in favor of a closed, increasingly restrictive community. For example you could pay $20 and get extra privileges which they chipped away at reserving them for those especially invited into their little clique. When you go on to their forum to ask a question it is like a /b/ troll holiday. The people at Gelbooru are nicer but their community is much smaller.
